Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop an E-TIMS compliant module in line with KRA requirements.
• Integrate the module into an existing ERP system with minimal disruption.
• Implement secure API integrations between the ERP system and KRA E-TIMS services.
• Ensure proper invoice generation, reporting, validation, and submission as required by E-TIMS.
• Implement error handling, logging, and reconciliation for all E-TIMS transactions.
• Collaborate with the internal development team to align with current system architecture.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide system handover support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with KRA E-TIMS compliance and integration.
• Strong backend development skills (PHP/Laravel, or equivalent).
• Experience integrating ERP systems and third-party APIs.
• Solid understanding of tax compliance, invoicing, and transactional workflows.
• Strong database skills (MySQL or equivalent).
• Ability to deliver independently within defined timelines.

• Prior experience implementing E-TIMS compliant ERP modules.
• Familiarity with Kenyan tax and regulatory systems.
• Experience producing clean documentation and technical handovers.
